Resolved Question: Can I do this, computer and laptop?

I have a computer downstairs, I use BT Broadband and have a BT voyager 22OV ADSL Voice Router. I am wanting to get a laptop, which I can use upstairs and about the house, wirelessly. I am wondering how can I do this? And still have broadband downstairs and upstairs? If I get a wireless router will I need to plug soomething into my computer as my computer is not a wireless one?
